ARTISTIC WORKS

Let's go into detail about the meaning of "art work".

The term "Work", from the Latin ŏpĕra: work of the hand and ingenuity of the human being.

The term "Art", from the Latin ărte: expression or application of the creative ability and imagination of human beings,

in the production of works mainly appreciated for their beauty or emotional strength to which an aesthetic value is recognized.

A photograph capable of combining these two terms is a "art work".

For this reason I decided that my "art works must be absolutely unique.

Here, this is my vision. The work of art lives not only in the aesthetic beauty and emotion that it manages to convey thanks to the artistic vision of the person who created it, but in every phase of its creation. Nothing must be neglected or left to mediocrity, everything must excel in order to try to reach perfection as much as possible.

"Do you want to know how to paint a perfect picture? It's easy. Make yourself perfect and then paint naturally."

Robert M. Pirsig - Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance

The photograph destined to become for its beauty or emotional strength   "art work" is created using a process that uses ancient printing techniques and is a unique copy plus an author's proof.

A positive or negative support is created on acetate similar to that of analog films based on the type of print you want to obtain,

A layer of resin is randomly spread on two glass plates to obtain two masks to be inserted above and below the acetate support which create an ever-changing texture and play of light and shade.

Everything is scanned in high resolution and printed on 100% pure cotton Fine-Art paper from ILFORD or on handmade Japanese papers with a thickness ranging from 40 to 100 grams per square meter.

The work thus obtained is then inserted into a 3 mm acid free conservative passepartout and in agreement with the buyer, into a handcrafted frame made with a museum glass that offers 99% protection against the damage of discoloration and is optically treated with an almost invisible finish that guarantees its absolute transparency.

Each work bears on the back the signature, the title, the date of shooting and creation and an anti-counterfeiting hologram also placed on the certificate of authenticity.
